Third Wednesday of the month

The Garden Wizards plan once a month meetings, including a series of presentations on such topics as Growing Plants from Seed, Fruit Trees, Vegetable Gardening, and more. The group is also hoping to have an annual plant sale. The leader, Jane West, has been gardening for 30 years and likes to grow plants that appear healthy and happy during the “demanding” Walnut Creek Spring – Fall. Every Friday at 12:55 pm

This group has a growing contingent of people who like to sing but do not want to sing a solo. We all click the mute button when someone sings so that we can sing along at home and not be heard. That avoids the sound delay in the Zoom program. Those who like to sing solos or duets choose their songs each week from a lyrics booklet. The lyrics booklet is available for printing at home.

Trivia Fan-Atics
Every Other Wednesday at 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Do you enjoy the challenge of playing trivia?  Want to have a good laugh and lots of fun while you exercise your brain?  Then this is the activity for you!  Join us on  every other Wednesday of each month for a fun filled afternoon of trivia challenge.  Check the calendar or watch the posts for scheduled sessions.  This is a drop-in activity so no registration is required.  Your hosts will be Bob and Cindy Mohler.

Open to all seniors, but space is limited.  If you are interested, please contact Bob Mohler at You will receive an email invitation with a link to the ZOOM session a day or so prior to the Trivia session.


Qi Gong
Every Monday at 12:00 pm – 12:15 pm

Qi Gong uses traditional Chinese exercises that engage the mind and body and encompasses posture and movement in a meditative experience. This 15-minute class provides a chance to take a break and relax with slow movements. The leader, Bob Wolf, studied Qi Gong for 4 years at the San Francisco Chinatown YMCA and teaches Qi Gong to employees of a major corporation.

This class requires balance and physical activity. This means our insurance carrier requires that you be a member of the WC Seniors Club and that you agree to a waiver of liability in order to participate. The waiver will be sent with your Zoom invite and clicking on the Zoom link to join the meeting means you have agreed to the terms of the waiver.
