The Walnut Creek Senior Club Trivia Fanatics are holding their next trivia session via ZOOM on Wednesday,  July 14, at 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. It’s open to all seniors, but space is limited.  If you are interested, please contact Bob Mohler at bobmohler82@gmail.com. You will receive an email invitation with a link to the ZOOM session a day or so prior to the Trivia session.

When you click on the Zoom link, it will download and run the zoom program.

Free

6 week series with David Hartness

Starting Thursday, July 15 at 1:00 pm.

Join David Hartness for a 6-week series and look at stunning photos of art starting with cave paintings and moving through the ancient world of Greece, Egypt, Rome, and Pompeii, among others. David will put the art in the context of Western Civilization for an interesting visual trip through western history. You can join in any time and go to a few or all of the sessions.

We are all filled with so many stories that make up our life–why not take a moment to collect your thoughts? Come join our free virtual creative writing group, where prompts and discussions will lead your pencil or pen into a whole new world. We will begin meeting on Wednesdays starting January 27 through March31 from 5 pm to 6 pm. No experience needed. Class prompts will be appropriate for non-fiction or fiction writers. The class is aimed at beginning creative writing students, but intermediate and advanced writers who would like to get fresh ideas are also welcome to join in. Coffee Break Qi Gong for a Balanced Life

Mondays at 11 am, Starting October 19 



Qi Gong uses traditional Chinese exercises that engage the mind and body and encompasses posture and movement in a meditative experience. This 15 minute class provides a chance to take a break and relax with slow movements. The leader, Bob Wolf, studied Qi Gong for 4 years at the San Francisco Chinatown YMCA and teaches Qi Gong to employees of a major corporation.
This class requires balance and physical activity. This means our insurance carrier requires that you be a member of the WC Seniors Club and that you agree to a waiver of liability to participate. The waiver will be sent with your Zoom invite and clicking on the Zoom link to join the meeting means you have agreed to the terms of the waiver.
