The two CD’s that come due will be put in the checking account pending change of bank. There was an anonymous donation of$1000 to the Creaker fund.
Correspondence – none
President Report – Fred’s email of ftr555 has been compromised. Use the other one.
Unfinished Business –
Newsletter – October’s newsletter was mostly done by Robin. Fred will be working on the November newsletter. He will include City activities in the newsletter.
2023 Elections – the election can be skipped if only incumbents put in their name for the position. At this time the incumbents have all put their names in – Fred Rentschler, Jody Johnson, Rolando Salazar and Jeanne Wolf. No one has put their name in for vice president or any of the other positions. As we have a quorum, Jody made a motion to cancel the 2023 elections. Second by Bob Mohler. The motion passed 6-0.
Change of Bank – Rich and Fred are still working on it with Wells Fargo. They are looking into the types of CDs available.
Dues – The dues have gone up to $20/year. The information as to how to pay will go into the November newsletter.
2023 Waiver – waivers will be updated to change the date to 2023. Waivers need to be signed by Tennis Club and Walking Buddies.
Creaker Dues – Bob will be sending a mass email to Creakers in November and then registration will start. Per Bob, Creakers are booming.
New Business
City newsletter – needs better coverage of WCSC events per Jody. Fred will talk to Kevin.
Creaker Board Member – Donn will look into someone to be appointed.
Activities – Petanque and the Investment Club will no longer exist as no one stepped up to be the organizers. Bingo is doing well but not up to pre-Covid level. Walking Buddies and Tennis have been having good attendance. Garden Club attendance is improving.
Some discussion of restarting socials – perhaps with free lunch?
Ambassadors Reports – none
PROS – none
Meeting adjourned at 10:29 am
Next meeting November 21, 2022
Respectfully submitted,
Jeanne Wolf
