Walking Buddies

Photo Above: Twelve Walking Buddies participated in the hike via Larkey Park on May 18, which we described in a recent WCSC newsletter. The picture was taken at the turnaround point by Dan Crowley.

by Rolando Salazar

For Tuesday, October 26th, we have scheduled a walk from Sugarloaf Regional Park to Shell Ridge Open Space. We will start our hike at Sugarloaf, walk through the park by the ranger station and follow a paved trail that goes past neighborhoods in the southern part of Walnut Creek.
We will go into Rudgear Park, continue on a paved path that parallels Sans Crainte Creek and exists where Shell Ridge Open Space begins. It is a very pleasant and easy walk of about 3 miles. If you are not familiar with it, I think it will become one of your favorites once you’ve been through there. Come join us.

For more information contact Rolando Salazar at rsalazar94598@gmail.com.

The schedule is online at  Hike Schedule for July-December 2021 (tripod.com)
